After graduating from textile design at RMIT in 1997, Beci Orpin quickly secured work in the real world designing textiles and graphics for a wide range of clients including Burton Snowboards, Built by Wendy, Bloom Cosmetics, Time Warner, Universal music and Dark Horse comics. In 2001 she began her own fashion label Princess Tina, which was sold in over 60 boutiques around the world. Beci has also worked for Allen and Unwin, Harper Collins, Mambo, Insight, and Genki, and has exhibited at Monster Children and Somedays Galleries. She designed and installed the mural at The Toff in Town in Melbourne's iconic Curtin House. The mural is constantly being updated.
Beci has recently launched her kidswear label, Tiny Mammoth, and is working on a Beci Orpin range of homewares and other goodies. Beci has lately been enjoying a huge amount of success working for commercial clients like Melbourne Tourism, Sensis, Fosters, Sunday Life, Mount Franklin/Coca Cola, and Mercedes Benz . She lives in Brunswick, Australia, with two gorgeous kids and her ultra supportive and business savvy partner, Raph.
