Neil Massey began his career assisting documentary photographers from London's Network Agency and working regularly with fashion superstar Elaine Constantine. Over the following ten years he built his profile working with editorial institutions like The Face, Q Magazine, Sleazenation, The Fader, Nylon, Trace and Amelia's Magazine.
He also shoots for The Observer and The Independent Magazine along with Esquire and Arena. Boxfresh booked Neil for five consecutive years, with each collection and campaign launched with an exhibition and a very good party. Bonds, Levi's, Lee, Atlantic, Virgin, EMI, Unicef, Amnesty, Vodafone, EA Sports, Virgin Mobile, Oakley, and Caterpillar have all hijacked Neil for their campaigns.
Neil works regularly with director, Dave Tucker on film projects too. He DOP'ed on "Stick Guns" which premiered at the L.A. Film Festival and was commended at the L.A. Moondance Festival. He also worked on short film "Bowl Cut", partially funded by the U.K. Film Council. It premiered at the 2006 Edinburgh Film Festival and showed at the London Film Festival and the 2007 Palm Springs and Hamptons Festival.
